Hermit JACOB and his dog WOOFER live at the closed Consort Mine #2 atop the mountain Jacob bought. Rumors about Jacob range from being a Howard Hughes-type recluse to being a "Russki" oligarch on the run... or even running a meth-lab. His apparent wealth doesn't jibe with the salvage yard he haphazardly runs but he and the outside world leave each other alone until one day...

GELSEN, REMEDIOS, AMADO, and PITA show up outside his gate, desperate to escape after successfully robbing drug-lord KIRILL's cross-border shipment of money to be laundered... only to have their escape vehicle breakdown in the middle of the desert. Kirill and his gang will soon be on their trail. They need Jacob's tow-truck to escape but there's Woofer's teeth and the Jacob's habit of staying just out of their reach.

DEPUTY DOUG, the area CPB officer comes across the disabled getaway car. Nothing out of the ordinary... except for loose currency bills flitting about and footprints leading off into the desert. Where there's loose bills, there's bundled bills; if they left loose ones, then that meant they had a larger pile of money to worry about.

Deputy Doug calls on his posse BOO, WINT, and STEVE: "Get out on dirtbikes and track the footprints and the money." It soon becomes clear: all signs point to Jacob's mountain. Deputy Doug and his posse look to relieving the footprint owners of their burden. Only they didn't reckon on Jacob's dark past getting in their way of getting the money.

Of course, there's still the little matter of Kirill who is out for his money... and blood.
